Disc Jockey/Master of Ceremonies Services

We provide DJ/MC services and all of the things necessary to make that happen.

As your DJ we combine your music program (developed from your must play list, play if possible list, guest requests during the pre-finalization) with our judgment and experience to add additional music to provide you and your guests with a mix that gives them the best dance experience possible. This mix is played through a state of the art sound system that allows your DJ to mix the music in an enjoyable and pleasing manner.

As your MC we provide all introductions and ensure that each name is pronounced correctly; coordinate the flow of activities for your event; coordinate and communicate with all of the other vendors to ensure that we are all on the same page; and make any additional announcements as necessary.

In order to bring all of this together into the experience you want we find out what you want and this begins at the interview with you before you even hire us. At the interview you are asked a set of questions designed to solicit from you details about your plans and vision for your event.

This process continues at the finalization. At this point most of your vision will be becoming reality and we will take the information you provide through the on-line planning system and develop an agenda for the day. The only times that will be in that agenda are the start of the event, meal served, and end time; all other activities will flow naturally and be coordinated with your other vendors. This process allows us to give you a low stress day that you can move through at your own pace.

Your day belongs to you and it is our goal to keep the focus on you. Unless it serves a purpose we try not to spend a large amount of time on the microphone. It is our goal to let you and your guests enjoy each other’s company without interruptions from your DJ. But, as always, all of that depends on what you want.

We let you be the guide to how interactive we should be. Here are some of the styles available.

Low-Key/Formal:

Very little "DJ talk time."
Announcements as planned and as needed to keep your event running smoothly and on schedule.
Games, activities, and props only upon request.
Prefers to remain in the background and maintain an atmosphere as opposed to being a large part of it.
Very little audience participation.
The focus of your event stays where it should be - on YOU!

Moderate Interaction:

Moderate amount of "DJ talk time."
May include small-talk and or a "chit-chatty" type of presentation.
Games, activities, and props may play a more prominent role.
Medium audience participation.

High Energy:

A lot of "DJ talk time," often delivered with a "gameshow host" or "motivational speaker" type of presentation.
Very animated physically, and often moving around among guests and mingling.
Games, activities, and props are almost a given.
DJ becomes a focal point of the event.
Lots of audience participation.
